Let the battle begin! 300 is back! This time, Zack Snyder is just producing, a relative unknown director Noam Murro (‘Smart People’) is in charge. ‘300: Rise of an Empire‘ is about the Greek general Themistocles (Sullivan Stapleton) who has to battle an invading army of Persians under the mortal-turned-god, Xerxes (Rodrigo, Santoro).

The film also stars Eva Green (Casino Royale), Lena Headey, and Jack O’Connell (This is England).

 According to Daily Variety the famous and groundbreaking special visual effects company is filing for bankruptcy. The magazine quotes: “after a hoped-for acquisition by Prime Focus fell through. Several buyers reported interested in acquiring the company out of bankruptcy.” Hopefully they get back in track. R&H has a solid line of work such as: Life of Pi,The Bourne Legacy, Snow White and the Huntsman, Chronicle, X-Men: First Class and Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. Also, they have very interesting upcoming projects like Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters and 300: Rise of an Empire.
