In my view, Star Wars sets itself apart from other sci-fi movies in a number of ways. Also, the franchise has created a rich, expansive universe with complex lore and history, something that few others can rival. Lastly, its iconic musical scores, which have become synonymous with the series, add an emotional depth that distinguishes it in the sci-fi arena.
